Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regard to the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The service stage designed for intervention experiences a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to help the servicing of all clients sassa and boost usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
